Miyu is not a veterinarian and never gives a diagnosis. It helps you keep up
with daily care and spot things worth asking a professional about. If your animal is unwell,
contact a vet. In an emergency, contact a vet immediately and do not wait for the app.
1. What Miyu is
Miyu is a pet care app. It tracks daily care tasks, stores health records and reminders, and
offers optional AI features that look at a photo or a recording and describe what they observe.
2. Not veterinary advice
Miyu provides general information only. It does not diagnose illness, does not prescribe or
recommend medication or dosages, and does not replace examination by a licensed veterinarian. No
veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created by using this app.
Decisions about your animal's health remain yours and should be made with a veterinarian. Do not
delay seeking professional care because of something Miyu showed you.
3. The AI features
The stool check, sound check and chat are powered by an artificial intelligence system. You are
interacting with software, not a person and not a professional.
- AI can be wrong, and can miss things that are present. A photo cannot rule out parasites,
infection or internal illness; a recording cannot establish a cause.
- Miyu is designed never to tell you an animal is healthy. The strongest thing it will say is
that nothing concerning is visible in that particular photo or recording.
- The sound check is experimental and its confidence is deliberately capped.
- Before your first analysis we ask for your consent to send the photo, recording and pet
details to our AI provider. You can decline and keep using the rest of the app.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the care and welfare of your animal.
- Provide accurate details. Wrong age, weight or breed will produce worse guidance.
- Use the app only for your own animals, and do not upload content that is illegal, abusive or
not yours to share.
- Do not attempt to make the AI produce medical instructions, dosages, or advice for humans.
5. Free allowance and subscription
Miyu includes a free allowance of AI checks and questions. Beyond that, the AI features require a
paid subscription; the rest of the app remains free to use.
Where a subscription is offered, it is sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple
account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before
the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of
that period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings; deleting the
app does not cancel it.
6. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. The AI features depend on third-party services
and may be temporarily unavailable. The app continues to work for daily care and records when they
are.
7. No warranty
Miyu is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do
not warrant that the AI output is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular situation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, harm or veterinary cost arising
from your use of the app or from reliance on its output. Nothing in these terms limits liability
that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid
us in the twelve months before the event.
9. Termination
You may stop using Miyu at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend access in case of misuse
of the service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice
to mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
